A tattooed metalhead and a fierce advocate for celebrating love in ALL its forms. I'm here to capture the raw, unfiltered beauty of life's most incredible, authentic moments; especially when they come wrapped in mayhem and carnage!
I’ve been told I’m a one-woman hype squad with a relaxed and fun style which means no awkward poses – just authentic, heartfelt moments. You’ve spent so long planning your best day ever, the last thing you want to do is stand around having your photo taken instead of partying with your chosen people! It’s important to get those ‘hero shots’ but I promise to get that done in the quickest and most fun way possible so you can get back to your celebrations.
My edit could be described as alternative and edgy - it’s all about bold colours and deep contrast, giving images punch and purpose and truly reflecting the riotous fun of your day! I always keep my eyes peeled to capture the moments that my couples may miss on the day. Weddings are so packed full of fun, love and things to do, that they fly by in an absolute whirlwind.
As an LGBTQ – friendly photographer, I’m passionate about creating a safe, inclusive space for everyone. I’m Midlands-based, but always up for an adventure in the name of love - after all, love knows no boundaries! I’m happy to travel over the UK and beyond. Gem is professional, considerate and will be your hype squad on your big day! We had our first meeting after booking Gem and she penned down all our ideas, our worries and our must haves for the day! We booked an engagement shoot and completely felt at ease, a mixture of beautiful candid and posed shots came back to us within weeks and she captured us in a way we have never seen ourselves. Due to covid the wedding was moved and the change of date was easy and not made into a big deal.
Gem came to see us a few weeks before the wedding to go over everything again and for a chat, to put any worries at ease. On the wedding day nothing was too much, she made sure to utilise the area and include everyone in the photos. I can’t recommend her enough, all our guests loved her and the vibe she brought to our wedding! She was never in anyone's faces or demanding smiles, she was sociable and fun! We have definitely made a friend for life!

FAQ's
We hate having our photo's taken, can you help us?
I feel your pain! I promise to make things super fun – definitely no awkward posing! Your wedding is NOT a photoshoot, I’ll get you to interact with each other and I’ll be shooting the love. Then you go back to celebrating with your people! And I promise, you’ll be so bloody happy, you’ll both look flipping amazing!!
Do you travel & what deposit do you take?
Yes – anywhere and everywhere! For weddings over 50 miles from NN18 (Corby), travel is charged at 45p per mile. For venues over 2 hours away from NN18 (Corby), accommodation will be required and is charged at £150 – no one should be driving that far at night time after shooting a whole wedding!
I ask for 25% of your total on booking, and the remaining 75% is to be paid 2 weeks before your wedding date.
How long till we receive our photo's/film & how do we get them?
You will get a ‘sneak peek’ of photos within the first few days, and then the rest will be ready within 6-8 weeks of your wedding. You will have your own personal, password-protected online gallery, where you can download any high quality images and even order prints and wall art.
